He disappears into the bathroom and returns moments later with a clean face.
He puts his jeans back on, seemingly willing to postpone a shower.
He's in a hurry.
"I'll leave you a note if there's anything. And I think we should aim for getting you back sometime tomorrow night. Things are getting a little - interesting around here. "
He heads for the window, pausing with one hand on the windowsill.
