OOM - Eric's room, Athelstan

The room is cool and tidy.
There's a bed (huge and covered in red bedding), a desk with a closed laptop, and a small table with a couple of low chairs. They're draped with skins (deer and sheep), with carved backs.

Eric turns to face Athelstan.

"Eric, you can barely think", he says quietly. "If you don't kill me, I'll recover. Take what you need short of that."

Eric closes the distance between them and lets his fangs come down.
The click is loud. The fangs white and large.

He bends down, one large hand settling on Athelstan's shoulder, the other coming to rest at the small of his back.
Keeping him in place.

Eric's skin is cold.
As are his lips.
They briefly touch Athelstan's neck - and then the fangs pierce his skin.

Athelstan doesn't move, except a small startled shift when the skin is broken, but doesn't try to pull away.

He is so hungry! but he tries to be careful, drinking in small! even swallows.
Gradually pulling Athelstan closer, enveloping him with his large arms.

Growling a little.

[athelstanthescribe]

"Eric", Athelstan says calmly. "Please stop growling. It's... a little unnerving."

[onceaviking]

He doesn't seem to listen.

At first.

Then the growling gradually grows softer. Becomes a moan.

[athelstanthescribe]

He considers, then reaches up and rests one of his hands over Eric's larger one.

"Thank you."

[onceaviking]

Eric doesn't answer.
The hand on Athelstan's lower back moves up and ends up in his hair. To keep him still.

And helikes touching hair. It calms him down.

[athelstanthescribe]

Whatever works.

He's just trusting Eric can stop himself, if it gets that far, before Athelstan is too weak to try to stop him.

He could go on.

He wants to go on.
But he reins himself in, biting his own tongue so he can lick the wounds closed.
His hand still stays in Athelstan's hair.

"Feeling better?" he asks gently, and doesn't move away.

[onceaviking]

Eric murmurs something that sounds vaguely affirmative, rubbing his face against Athelstan's neck. Like a big cat.

[athelstanthescribe]

This is awkward. But, Athelstan has to admit... not unpleasant. And after the experience of being drunk from, more intense than the last time...

"Eric." His voice is softer than before, and just maybe...

Eric turns his head to look at him.
His eyes are very blue and much more clear now.

His lips are stained red.
"Mmm?"

He's very close, so close, and those eyes, so like Ragnar's...

Before he really knows what he's doing, Athelstan leans forward and kisses the corner of Eric's mouth.

Eric lifts his hands to cradle Athelstan's face.
Retracting his fangs with a click.

Not breaking eye contact.

Not moving.

The little monk is getting bold. But perhaps not bold enough.

[athelstanthescribe]

His eyes are wide for a different reason, his pupils enormous, and his eyes flicker to Eric's lips - then back to his eyes.

Eric isn't Ragnar, the only other man he's been sexually attracted to. But maybe, in a way... this is safer. No one will know.

Very slowly, he moves in and kisses Eric again.

One of Eric's eyebrows move up.
Just a fraction.

Then he kisses the little monk back. Just a little.
No sense in spooking him.

And maybe he can guess at why. Or maybe he is just a little grateful that he is no longer as cold from lack of sustenance.

Whatever the reason, he lets Athelstan kiss him, keeping his hands where they are. Cradling his face.

After a while, as the only one who needs to breathe, he pulls back a little, looking up at Eric.

"Do you... still...?"

He's still influenced by the experience, perhaps, turned on more than he's used to, but this is still him.

"Do I still what?"
His voice is an intimate murmur.

One of his thumbs move in a slow circle on Athelstan's cheek.

That is not helping with the ability to form sentences, Eric.

"You wanted... since we first met... me."

[onceaviking]

This time, the sound he makes is closer to a purr than a growl.

"Yes," he says and this time he kisses Athelstan.
It's a somewhat more - direct kiss.

[athelstanthescribe]

He can't restrain a moan at that, as sensitised as he is, and leans fully into the kiss, his hands rising to Eric's shoulders.

Who would have thought?

Eric suppresses a small smile and deepens the kiss, using his tongue.

[athelstanthescribe]

Just wait until Thyri is sent to seduce him while he's on 'shrooms. External influences seem to help him in this area.

This is a new experience, neither Ava nor Minx went that far to free him from the mistletoe, and he tries to follow Eric's lead.
