Eric's room - for Athelstan

Eric's room is neat and bare.
He hadn't been expecting to return.

He opens the door and lets Athelstan in. Then he switches on the bedside lamp and turns to look at him.

"Would it make a difference, if it did?"

[onceaviking]

Eric shakes his head.
"No, I don't think so. It's still a bad idea."

[athelstanthescribe]

"But you still want to bed her."

[onceaviking]

"Of course. She has amazing tits."

[athelstanthescribe]

"And what will you do", he asks, gentle but pointed, "if she wants to be yours as you want her to be?"

[onceaviking]

"I'll deal with that if we get there," he answers which of course just means that he has no idea.

[athelstanthescribe]

It's not an answer. But it's the only one he's going to get, so Athelstan just nods.

[onceaviking]

Eric gives him a raised eyebrow.
"What did you expect me to say? That I would want to play house with her?"


(Foreshadowing ahoy)

He snorts. "Hardly. But there are things between the two. From all you've said, I shouldn't think she'd be happy for long as a kept pet anyway."

[onceaviking]

Eric gives a half-chuckle.
"We'll see."

[athelstanthescribe]

"I'll await news with interest."

He means it.

[onceaviking]

"I am not in the habit of kissing and telling, Athelstan," Eric says.
Unless he is telling pam. And that doesn't count.

[athelstanthescribe]

"And yet you've told me what you intend." He shrugs. "I didn't mean the details she wouldn't like shared."

[onceaviking]

"I am sure you didn't," Eric says, sounding very much like he is in fact sure he did.

[athelstanthescribe]

Athelstan eyes him, visibly amused.

"And why would I need to hear those, when I know the kind of lover you are and I'll likely never meet her?"

[onceaviking]

"You feel nothing when others describe what they've done?" Eric asks.
Because he knows that Athelstan will have heard such things. In boastful details.

[athelstanthescribe]

Yes, he has.

"Nothing", he says simply. "A measure of curiosity, once, but... words are just words, and often exaggerated. Now just the same amusement as the other men."

[onceaviking]

"Words are not just words," Eric counters. "And they've clearly been using the wrong ones."

[athelstanthescribe]

"They tend to use the same ones", he admits. "Over and over."

[onceaviking]

"You have to tell of these things, so people can taste them," Eric says, a purr in his voice.

[athelstanthescribe]

"Would you like to demonstrate?" he asks lightly. "Without names, if you prefer."

[onceaviking]

"Well, there was this girl," Eric says, leaning in a little.
"She came to my club and unlike a lot of the other guests, she interested me. She was dressed up, but it was obviously for her own sake. A tight little vinyl top and a short skirt. Just right for bunching up around her hips. Her hair was cropped short, showing off her long, beautiful neck. And she had a small steel piercing in her tongue."

He licks his lips.

"And so I had Pam go fetch her. She was afraid as she approached me, but I could smell she was turned on as well. See it in the rapidness of her breath."

Athelstan has an artist's imagination, and Eric's description is just detailed enough he can see it in his mind. His eyes widen at the mention of the tongue piercing - tattoos are one thing, but he's never come across that before and he can just imagine... things.

"Sometimes fear can even be part of that."

[onceaviking]

"It's a big part of it. I like smart people. Smart people fear me," Eric purrs.
"So she approaches me - I'm sitting on my throne - and I asked her what her name is. And she tells me. And then I slide my hand up on the inside of her thigh, just up halfway between her knee and her fitte. Her skin is warm. And she gasps. So I tell her that she can some with me out back."

He's forgotten about the shower head in his hand, letting it spray him and ignoring it.

"And did she?"
