For Emcee

Eric unlocks his door and lets Emcee through, before locking it again.

Then he sets about shedding the rest of his clothes - that is to say his jeans - and his boots.
They don't really look salvageable either.

The grime is everywhere.

"I like to consider myself an insoiration," Eric replies.
Modestly.

"Oh, I can say without a shadow of a doubt, you do stimulate the imagination. ...Among other things."

[onceaviking]

Eric has perfected the art of sprawling.
He can so even while standing up.

"If I take you along, you will have to be cautious. Sometimes the young ones feel the need to show off."

[i_am_your_host]

There is nothing about Eric's body that Emcee can't stare at and admire. In any position.

"How do you mean? Would they try to-- what did you call it-- glamour me?"

[onceaviking]

"Some might" Eric replies.
"Or get forceful. Of course, I'd have to set them right about that. If you are my guest, you are hands off, unless I say otherwise."

Emcee has no idea why, but the idea of Eric asserting his rule is pretty hot.

"Well, then I'd much rather have it be known that I was your guest, if that's all right with you. As I mentioned before, I would be rather wary of attracting other vampires, so I'm not going to go traipsing off with just anyone without you knowing."

[onceaviking]

"I would know," Eric replies, breezily.
"Even when the club is full, I know where the humans are. And whom they are. Remember, I can hear your heartbeat."

[i_am_your_host]

He blinks at him, and is quiet and still for a moment, as he hears and feels his own heartbeat in question quicken a fraction.

"Especially, I suppose, since you already know me and what it sounds like."

[onceaviking]

A small nod.
" Yes. I know your signature. Intimately."

As in very well.

[i_am_your_host]

He licks his lips. The way Eric says the word intimately sends a shiver down his back and makes his toes curl.

"What does it sound like to you?"

[onceaviking]

"A human pulse? It's like a hypnotic drumbeat. It's -"
He licks his lips, half-closing his eyes.
"Visceral. Alluring."


Then he looks back up at Emcee.
"Or were you asking about your own?"

[i_am_your_host]

His eyelashes flutter, his eyes wide.

"Well-- what does mine sound like?"

[onceaviking]

"Hmm," Eric purrs, closing his eyes.

"It sounds like - a tiny,little rabbit,eager and terrified. Pressed against the ground. Like sex. And fear. "

Then he opens his eyes again.
"It sounds like a heartbeat, Emcee."

[i_am_your_host]

The description startles him, as it's rather accurate, but Eric's subsequent dry tone earns a sheepish chuckle.

"Well, yes. I suppose it does. But I actually-- have felt like a-- trapped rabbit. When you hold me down. And when you lean in close to smell my blood beneath my skin. Just before you bite me."

Eric smiles.
It's a small smile. You kind of have to know it is there to see it.

"Do you now?"

A slightly raised eyebrow.

"And do you like being a little rabbit?"

He blushes hotly and swallows. He finds himself shrinking against the chair, while wanting to throw himself at Eric at the same time.

"With you, how can I not?"

[onceaviking]

Eric's lips part.
Just a little.

Then he says, "I shouldn't feed on you again tonight."
He might mostly be telling himself.

[i_am_your_host]

Emcee's eyes dart to Eric's lips. And he has a quick flashback to what had just happened in the shower.

"All right," he says quietly.

Not disappointed.

"And I should probably get something to eat."

Because they're being practical.

[onceaviking]

"Or -" Eric says, thoughtfully, "you could drink a little first ..."

[i_am_your_host]

He's silent for a moment, hesitating.

"I could. If you don't mind terribly?"

[onceaviking]

Eric lets his fangs drop.
And his fingers - briefly - rests against the side of his own neck before he lifts his hand to his mouth.
Biting down on the meaty part of his hand, just below his thumb.

[i_am_your_host]

Emcee watches him. Then he lowers his feet to the floor and stands, and softly pads over to Eric.

He holds his hand out, as the dark red blood slowly begins to drip.

[i_am_your_host]

Emcee takes Eric's large hand in his fingertips and steps closer, bringing it to his mouth. And he licks away the blood that begins to drip with slow, broad swipes of his tongue. Warm and slick, catching more skin than blood.

He then presses his mouth over the wound, sucking gently, licking, swallowing, breathing out a purring hum. His fingertips stroke the back of Eric's hand, tracing over his knuckles. Big and brawny compared to his own.

Eric lets his eyes rest on Emcee's face, the way his lips move, his throat, his jaw.

His fingers are warm. As are his lips.

Eric licks his lips. A pointless, human gesture.
