OOM: Fangtasia

They made it through the door unseen and Eric handed Jay a slip of paper before practically pushing him out of the staff entrance door.

There was half an hour till opening time but a line had already formed outside the windowless, black painted building. Goths and punks and quite a few locals as well. The latter were especially rowdy, gathering their courage and riling each other up.

"I think your break is over," Eric says from the doorway. And she stops moving.

"I am not done, "she says, not looking back at Eric.

" I know, "he says." But he is. "

She looks at him over her shoulder and then dismounts, letting Jay slip from her.

She pulls her skirt down and walks out of the room without a second glance at Jay.

There's no point looking back at Jay because he's just going to lay there for a moment and remember how to breath. He still has open bites on his wrist and shoulder and the start of some unfortunate friction burns elsewhere. He looks at Eric from his position sprawled out on the desk. There are a couple of smart-ass comments trying to line up on his tongue but he can't quite manage more than. "Wow."

"She gets that a lot," Eric says. Then he adds, "Pam, get back in here and clean up." Not raising his voice.

And she is back, bent over Jay and licking his wounds. Closing them.

Jay manages a thank you but mostly because he was brought up to be polite. Moving much he hasn't managed.

[onceaviking]

And then she is back at Eric. "Anything else?" The sarcasm practically drips from her words.

He tilts her face up with a finger beneath her chin.
"You missed a spot, "he says and brushes his lips across the corner of her mouth.

They stay like that briefly and then she is gone and Eric is towering over Jay.

"I totally get what you see in her." Jay grins, a little goofy perhaps from his upside view of the world. "She's as scary gorgeous as you are."

[onceaviking]

"Scary gorgeous?" Eric repeats with a lifted eyebrow.
Then he says, "Can you stand?"

[runningred]

"Stunning and powerfully beautiful." Jay corrected, referring to Eric more than Pam. Interesting as that was, he prefers Eric far more.

"Um... let's test that theory." He pulls himself up somewhat unsteadily, groaning quietly. "Yeah, yup. Huston, we have feet." He's up if sore in ways he's not so fond of. "I'm good."

"Did she rub you raw?" Eric asks with a badly hidden grin.

[runningred]

"Not raw precisely." Jay growls playfully, aware he's being teased. "Just a little tender. Think I could have gone another round before I started screaming."

[onceaviking]

"You might have been able to," Eric agrees. "But it is for the best that you didn't. She never says no to a challenge."


He looks into Jay's eyes. "You should be okay."

[runningred]

"I can see why some people would enjoy dying that way but I'm not sure it works for me."

He smiles and holds Eric's eyes in return. "I'll be fine but I think it might be time for me to head back to Milliways." He needs a shower and a really good sleep. "Thanks for inviting me. It's been... interesting."

[onceaviking]

I "You should," Eric agrees. "I have some things that need taken care of here. Will you manage on your own?"

[runningred]

"I'll be fine." He smiles, cocking his head. "It's been fun. Scary and wild but fun too. Will you thank Pam for me?"

[onceaviking]

"I shall," Eric replies. "I will see you later."

[runningred]

Jay opens a random door and smiles as Milliways greets him. He glances over his shoulder to Eric to blow him a kiss before vanishing into the bar.
