He unlocks the door and pushes it open, letting Orpheus enter first.

It's fairly spartan. A bed, a chair, a writing desk. A large window. He doesn't plan on resting here.

And that is exactly what he does.

Eric leans back on his haunches and unceremoniously turns Orpheus over. He is, after all, very strong.

There was no social acceptance of sexual encounters among men when Eric was alive. Or at least, there was no social acceptance of being on the receiving end of such a liaison.

He had little thought for it while he was alive and he learned, as a new vampire, that things are different once you become undead. That rules that govern human life have no meaning.

And he loved. But that is beside the point.

What matters is, that while he would still rather bury himself in a woman, he does not mind bedding a man.

As long as he does get to be in charge.

"Can I fuck you?" he asks, already lined up.

He is not a particularly gentle lover. But if the human protests, he will abstain from breaching him. If only because he is going to live.

That is exactly what Orpheus was looking for. There were rules for this sort of thing when he was young, for what was acceptable and what was not, but Orpheus has learned to move with the times. Some things, though, take longer to change. For the most part, he prefers to be the one in charge, but he has learned that he does find pleasure in receiving if he's with a partner who is willing to dominate him.

If it's only sex, that is, and not anything more intimate in his mind.

He hums his pleasure, like a cloud of seduction around them, pushing his hips back a little.

"Gods, yes."

And so Eric presses into Orpheus, regretting the fact that he did not bite his neck. Nothing is sweeter than the dual warmth of flesh and blood.

He reaches up and pricks his own little finger and the reaches down to smear his blood haphazardly across the bite while he rocks back and forth. Slowly. Just to stop the flow. No sense in him bleeding to death like that.

Then he frees his hand and licks it and then - he starts moving in earnest. Not quite as hard and fast as with a woman. Men can rarely deal with that.

But hard. And fast. Faster than humanly possible.

He could go on forever. But he doubts that Orpheus can.

Yet another new experience for Orpheus. The only non-human he's been with this way is Apollo, and he is much more gentle.

Not that Orpheus minds at all.

He certainly can't last forever, nowhere near it when he's being taken like this. He grips the sheets almost desperately, trying to hold on as long as he can, make this last, but it isn't as long as he'd like before he's crying out his release.

And as he does, Eric's mouth is against his nack, his teeth, his fangs grazing the skin.

He is growling, weighing Orpheus down. A huge, tense creature. Still hard. Still hungry.

Orpheus shudders at the sensation of being covered with Eric's cold weight. He tilts his head to the side, baring his neck in invitation.

"Do it..."

He bites again, the wet, slurping noises louder this time.

It's takes a lot of will power to let go of him before he drinks too much. The last couple of licks are almost kisses, soft and open-mouthed.

A scratch to his own lower lip releases just enough blood to stop the active bleeding.

The he pulls out and sits back against the wall. Still hard. Still with exposed fangs.

He isn't breathing hard. He isn't breathing.

He looks at Orpheus. His face unreadable.

Orpheus is most certainly breathing hard. He shifts just enough to be able to look at Eric and gives him a pleased, near exhausted smile.

"Well, that was definitely an experience. Did you get enough?"

He still feels sluggish and weak from the amount of blood he's lost, but he isn't terribly worried about that.

Eric retracts his fangs and licks his lips.

"No," he says. "But I did not expect to. I would have to drain you for that to happen and that was not our agreement. Even though you taste - "

And here his vice drops and becomes low and intimate.

"Very good."

He licks his lips again and palms himself, unabashedly, before continuing in a more normal tone of voice.

"You should take care to eat and drink. Meat. Kale. Wine."

Orpheus chuckles faintly. "You won't kill me. If it were that easy, I'd have done it centuries ago."

The gods know he's tried enough.

Orpheus watches his hand moving with unconcealed interest. "Need some help with that?"

"Really?"

Interesting. Very interesting. But perhaps to be tested some other time.

The offer makes him lift an eyebrow. "I produce no fluids. Most find it - unpleasant to look at."

Orpheus arches an eyebrow right back. "Still seems only fair. And I can almost guarantee I've seen worse."

Eric removes his hand and sprawls, leaving Orpheus plenty of space to get closer.

Orpheus shifts closer, stretching out next to Eric. He lets his hand trail over Eric's cool chest before wrapping around him.

Eric's eyes grow a little distant.

After a moment, he wraps his own hand around Orpheus', increasing his pace. And the pressure.

Orpheus watches, fascinated, curious to see what it is people find so unpleasant. His heart rate starts to pick up a bit again as their hands move.

Eric lets his eyes drift close as his fangs drop again and then he presses his lips together as he comes.

There is no fluid in a vampire, except for blood.

It fills Orpheus' hand, warm and sticky and thick.

Eric grunts and then shifts his grip on Orpheus, so he can lift his hand to his mouth and lick his palm clean.

Orpheus watches in fascination. It isn't what he was expecting, but he isn't particularly disgusted by it. He shivers a bit more as Eric's tongue moves over his skin.

"Well...that was certainly new."

Eric reaches up to yank the ribbon that is holding his hair (mostly) in place, out. He tosses it carelessly on the floor.

Freed, his hair is long enough to brush his shoulders. Straight and thick.

He stretches out on the bed and sighs. Then he says, "So you can not be bleed to death? That sounds -"

Intriguing. Useful.

Orpheus smiles a bit at that, reaching up to touch Eric's hair lightly.

"As far as I've found, I can't die in any way. Not that I've tried them all, but I've definitely done a few."

Eric's eyes drift halfway shut. Perhaps he enjoys the touch. Perhaps he is just savoring the afterglow.

Perhaps -

"It is not something in your blood that does it, I think," he murmurs. "It is different. A little intoxicating. But not - not that different."

His accent is more pronounced now that he is relaxing.

He opens one eye again. "You are free to stay here. I go elsewhere when I sleep."

"No, it's not something I was born with," Orpheus affirms. "It happened a bit later."

At the offer, he smirks and lays back himself. "I should probably go back to my own, actually."

Eric reaches over and runs a large, cool hand down Orpheus' chest and belly.

It's the closest he's gotten to a caress the whole time.

"I enjoyed myself," he says before sitting up. "Perhaps, we might do this again sometime."

And then - he is dressed and standing in front of Orpheus again. The air in the room still moving from his fast movements.
