Eric opens the door to his room and switches the light on.

His room is clean and neat and cool. A filled decanter and a glass on the small table, the bed turned down.
He steps aside to let Emcee in.

Eric runs his thumb along his cheekbone again, then down his cheek and across his lower lip.

He shouldn't be giving him ideas.

But he likes doing this, so fuck that. It's not like it makes a difference anyway.

"I can still smell her in the next room," he murmurs.

His eyelashes flutter.

And he takes a deep breath and sighs, managing a little smile with one corner of his mouth.

"We did make a delicious mess of each other."

"We did," Eric agrees, stroking his thumb across that hint of a smile.

[i_am_your_host]

He's blushing now. Fiercely.

Running his hands through his hair again, he straightens up a little more, easing himself off the wall.

"I'll be all right. As always."

[onceaviking]

Eric nods and then he moves back under the spray, closing his eyes to wash his face.
Breaking eye contact as well as physical contact.

Emcee keeps his gaze lowered as he too moves back under the spray, sharing it with Eric. Or at least catching whatever water Eric isn't taking up.

He rubs his neck, massaging the point where his shoulder and neck meet.

"Am I healed up properly? I don't suppose bite marks carry over."

Eric leans close and wipes water away from his eyes.

"It looks fine," he says, his cool breath a stark contrast to the warm water.

"Oh, good."

He can feel Eric's breath through the steam.

Maybe he asked that on purpose to get him to lean in close. Or maybe he didn't.

But before Eric can move back, he lays a hand on his shoulder and stares intently at his mouth. Licking his own lips.

Whatever shape he takes, maybe he just can't get enough of Eric.

Eric looks down at him steadily.
And then he cants his head, just a teeny bit to the side.

In case someone felt like kissing him.

[i_am_your_host]

Someone does.

Emcee presses his lips to Eric's in a kiss that's simple, quick, and almost chaste, except for the desire behind it. And perhaps a sense of relief. Because they're sort of back to where they were again, at least in Emcee's head. And he's okay with that.

He steps back a little, breaking the kiss.

[onceaviking]

Eric lets him kiss him.
And he lets him step away.

"There's wine on the table," he says, before reaching for the shampoo.
Again.

And surely he won't have to caution him about drinking too much.
Then he'd just have to stay.
And who'd want that?

[i_am_your_host]

But Emcee wants that.

"Thank you," he says. "I'll have some in a little while."

Has he washed his own hair yet? No, he'll do that first. Just to linger. And so he does so, taking another bottle of shampoo, because Eric seems well-stocked with them.

Eric does indeed posses many, many bottles of shampoo.
And body wash.

And he turns his attention fully to the task at hand, seemingly ignoring emcee.

Vampires trust no one. But if they did, they might let themselves not be hyper aware of their presence all the time.

Emcee doesn't mind.

Besides, Eric gives him something nice to watch while he washes and rinses off.

And Emcee is harmless. Eric knows that.

And Eric doesn't mind being admired, so it all works out.

He finally finished rinsing off and steps out of the shower, dripping on the floor. All traces of blood are gone.

Emcee takes his cue and follows shortly. He too has been scrubbed clean of blood, but also all scents of a woman.

He takes a large towel and wraps himself up, vigorously rubbing his hair with one end of it.

Eric grabs a towel as well (it looks smaller when wrapped around him) and runs his fingers through his hair a couple of times.

Then he heads back into the bedroom and strips the bed.

Emcee follows Eric out of the bathroom.

"The sheets look as if you tore me to pieces," he mumbles a bit wryly as he picks the silver dress off the floor.

Unfortunately his clothes didn't change along with him.

Eric turns, about to say something - and the his lips quirk a little.

"That'll look adorable," he says.

[i_am_your_host]

For a moment he stands there stunned. And severely amused. Because he has never heard Eric describe anything as adorable, even as a joke.

"Of course it will," Emcee agrees, unable to contain a crooked smirk. "I do know how to wear a dress and heels. The shoes may be a bit too small, though."

He lays the dress over the back of a chair and pours himself a glass of wine.

Eric balls up the stiff and crusted sheet and takes a clean from the bedside table.

He doesn't bother tightening it or tucking it in. It's clean; that's what matters.

And so he lies down on it and stretches. He always enjoys clean bedding.
Even if it doesn't smell as nice.

Glass in hand, Emcee settles down in a chair that faces the bed and draws his feet up. It's a nice view of Eric.

"Do you still smell her?" he murmurs before taking a sip.

[onceaviking]

Eric closes his eyes.
"Yes," he murmurs. "The scent is still on the air."

[i_am_your_host]

Emcee drains half the glass and closes his eyes as well, thinking about the way Eric felt inside him. Her. The ache of wanting him inside her.

"You made me so wet," he sighs.

[onceaviking]

" I know, " Eric smirks.
"It's a gift, really. Women often react that way."
