Eric's room - for Athelstan

Eric's room is neat and bare.
He hadn't been expecting to return.

He opens the door and lets Athelstan in. Then he switches on the bedside lamp and turns to look at him.

Track suits.
Great for undressing.

He doesn't make a show of it, but the contrast between the dark fabric and his startlingly pale skin always makes it seem a little like a display.

Eric nods at the bed.

And Athelstan goes to the bed and lies down.

He watches Eric, and waits.

Eric leaves his clothes puddled on the floor on top of his flip flops and moves to the bed, silently, like a huge, pale shadow.

Athelstan stretches out fully, letting Eric see and touch wherever he wants.

He doesn't speak, waiting silent and ready.

[onceaviking]

Eric climbs onto the bed and runs one large hand up Athelstan's body, from his hipbone to his collarbone.

Feeling the life inside of him, eyes half-closed. Lips parted.

[athelstanthescribe]

"Eric." His voice is strained. "Please."

This act is a reminder of life, and why he wants to hang onto it, and he needs it.

And perhaps Eric understands that.
Because as he slides his hand back down, to lift one of Athelstan's legs, he dips his head to kiss him.

Athelstan arches up, kissing him back hungrily, and moves his lower body willingly into whatever position Eric wants it in.

He tilts Athelstan's hips as he deepens the kiss and then he slowly, steadily presses against him. Holding him in place with his large hands.

[athelstanthescribe]

He doesn't resist being held - why would he, when he's where he wants to be? - and lets Eric take a little time about it. He does murmur encouragement against Eric's lips, single-word requests like yes and now.

He sheaths himself and then he breaks the kiss.

His fangs ache.

He runs his lips along Athelstan's collarbone and up his neck. One hand on Athelstan's face. Striving to keep that touch gentle.

The effort is obvious, and appreciated. Athelstan looks up at him, gasping as Eric enters him and the kiss ends.

"If it's safe to take more blood... you can."

And then, Eric offered him his own, but he won't press for that before Eric's ready.

His heartbeat is still strong.
He's healthy. And as he said himself well-fed.

Eric hisses no bites down again, this time close to his jawline.
A little more. And then he'll reciprocate.
And then he won't have to hold back.

He whimpers a little at the thought.

[athelstanthescribe]

Athelstan's head tips back against the pillow, baring his throat just as Eric bites down, and he moans as Eric drinks.

He may never find anything else like that sensation.

[onceaviking]

Eric reluctantly lets go of Athelstan with one hand and moves his mouth away from his skin briefly, biting down hard on his own hand, right beneath his thumb.

And then he presses the slowly seeping would to Athelstan's lips.

He sucks on the wound, eyes wide and fixed on Eric as he does, until Eric pulls his hand away, then he lies back on the bed, already feeling the effects.

And Eric growls and increases his pace, pounding into him at vampire speed, his hips moving at lightening speed.

[athelstanthescribe]

There's nothing he can do with that but take it and enjoy it, not even having a hope of keeping up.

He does move in response at his own pace, though, crying out as Eric thrusts into him.

"Tal," Eric whispers into his ear.

Speak.

[athelstanthescribe]

He's breathless, his voice hoarse, but he does his best.

"Like this. Always... from you, always like this. Others may be gentle, but when I come to you, I want hard and fast."

[onceaviking]

Eric makes an eager, snarling sound - and increases the pace of his thrusts.
With vampire blood in him, Athelstan will be able to take it.

[athelstanthescribe]

He can, and he does. He still can't match it, but he can take it.

"Yes", he says on an exhale, head falling back to expose his throat again. "Give me it all."

Eric bites down and tangles his fingers in Athelstan's hair. Keeping his head in place.

His cool thumb strokes his cheekbone, a gentle contrast to the ferocity of his bite and the violent movements of his hips.

[athelstanthescribe]

Athelstan turns his head very slightly into Eric's hand without disrupting anything, an acknowledgment of the gentle gesture.

He moans in pleasure as Eric's fangs pierce his skin again, hips arching sharply up against Eric's as blunt nails dig into Eric's shoulders.

Eric looses himself in the sensations and the sweet, pure taste of Athelstan's blood. Dimly mindful of his pulse, his heartbeat, the sounds he makes.
