Eric opens the door to his room and switches the light on.

His room is clean and neat and cool. A filled decanter and a glass on the small table, the bed turned down.
He steps aside to let Emcee in.

His laugh is a pleasant, rumbly sensation.

And that's actually...a nice thing to say.

She pauses her kisses and rests her chin against his chest, as her fingers idly sweep up and down his firm stomach.

"Do you think I'd try to run away?"

He looks down at her.

"No," he whispers.

She ought to.
But he doesn't think she will.

It sounds like a serious answer. But Eric is often a serious vampire.

She slings an arm around his middle and kisses the center of his chest before pressing her cheek to where there should have been a heartbeat.

"You're right, I wouldn't, but only because you're so much fun."

Emcee has her own ideas of what fun is, but that's not really the point.

"I am," he agrees, smugly.
Mostly.

Then he reaches down to pat her ass. "Go wash up."

The pat turns to a caress somewhere in the middle of that sentence.

She sighs and rubs her face against his chest like a clingy kitten.

His hand on her ass is nice.

Finally, after a few moments, she picks her head up. And then she makes every effort to crawl over him, deliberately sliding every limb over his body, to get to the edge of the bed.

His eyes follow her every move as she slides across him.

"Now, you're just teasing," he says.

"I never tease!" she insists.

She pauses, and with a few contortions, she ends up straddling his chest, her knees parted wide across his shoulders. The inside of one of her thighs is stained with dried blood. She's still wet.

"You told me to go wash, so I'm getting up to go wash."

He looks up at her with slightly parted lips as the mixed scents of blood and arousal are suddenly emphasisedo with a visible component.

Then he lifts his head to run his lips along the soft skin of her inner thigh.

His lips are growing cold.

And that just makes her wetter.

She swallows and licks her lips as her breathing picks up a notch. She slides forward slightly, making it easier for him to reach whatever he wants with his mouth.

Another advantage of being a vampire is not having to breathe when someone sits on your chest.

She startles when his fangs drop. Long and white and gleaming, his upper lip curled in a snarl that makes his whole mouth look terrifying.

There is a faint tremor in his upper lip, as he slowly runs his mouth along her pale skin.

And then he bites.

Her body jerks at the stab of pain, and she cries out, her eyes widening at how much blood there is. It seeps out of the corners of his mouth, coloring his lips red.

And his arms snake up around her hips to hold her still, in place, as he feeds, the pull of his mouth almost desperate.

She gasps at the feel of his arms and hands, the pull of his mouth. Yet she keeps watching his face, mesmerized.

Grasping one of his solid arms just to brace herself, she slides her other hand over her body. Over her breasts, teasing her nipples. Down her flat stomach. And down between her thighs.

She slips a finger inside herself and exhales a moan.

He moans wetly as he feels the change in her, in her scent,in her blood, in the tension of her body.

He wants her.

Her head lolls onto her shoulder, still watching him from under hooded eyelids. She rocks her hips slightly, just enough to rub her clit against her hand. Her moans become high pitched whimpers with every breath as she strokes herself.

The growl reverberates through her body. Fear spikes her blood, but she likes that feeling.

And then she throws her head back with a cry-- she comes hard, all over her hand, all over his chest. Her blood gushes into his mouth.

He can feel her hot blood fill his mouth to overflowing, feel it run down his chin and neck, as he tightens his arms even more around her, letting the heady scent of her climax fill his world.

Gasping and panting, she falls forward and braces herself against the headboard, her head hung with her hair in her face. In a daze, she watches her own blood spill over Eric's jaw.

Eric swallows once, twice - and then he forces his mouth away from her wounds. Biting down on hos tongue. Licking the wounds closed.

His lips and chin are dripping wet and violently red.

She still has enough sense to let him lick her wounds closed. When her skin heals, she shifts and slides down his body, curling up half on and half off of him, her leg draped over his midsection. With a deep sigh, she closes her eyes and nestles her face against his shoulder.

"I'll go wash in a minute," she mumbles.
